Adanma, Ink on Archival Paper, starting bid at only $1100.00--piece valued at $2,700.00.
The artwork "Adanma" is part of the Afro-goddess series created to capture "Spiritual Portraits" of African Women by bringing the consciousness of the feminine energy to surface. The focus of this series was to remind the viewer that beneath the objectified appearance of us women lies a powerful and audacious spirit worth hearing. To any woman struggling with her identity, it serves as a reminder to discover herself, not through external validation, but by looking inward for transcendental understanding.
